Nepal Health Corps, Healthcare for All
We envision a Nepal where Healthcare is accessible to everyone from the cities to rural parts of Nepal equally through empowered healthcare leaders.
With the motto ‘Together For Healthier Nepal’, Nepal Health Corps is working for the implementation of Universal Health Coverage 2030 at community, district and National level of Nepal. We are building a national network of universities, research centers, and other partner organizations/institutions to translate the latest expertise in Universal Health Coverage into action.
In 2019, Mr. Pradish Poudel founded Nepal Health Corps during his Fellowship with UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network and it’s Youth Initiatives to empower young doctors and medical students to create sustainable development solutions on Good Health and Well-Being. As the IDEAS Asia Pacific Director and Country Representative, Mr. Pradish Paudel collaborated with IDEAS for Us, accredited by UN ECOSOC when they extended the Nepal Network to mobilize Nepalese youths to promote practical problem solving for sustainable development, including the design and implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at local and national scale.
Nepal Health Corps educates medical students and young doctors about the Sustainable Development Goals focused on Good Health and Well-Being and provides opportunities for them to pioneer innovative solutions to address the nation's biggest health challenges.
With this aim, we create platforms for young doctors and medical students to connect, collaborate and integrate their ideas and perspectives into local and national pathways for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Universal Health Coverage.
